cuuminty2The Ugandan youth are struggling to transition into the formal workforce, with the labor market able to absorb only 80,000 new workforce entrants out of the 400,000-youth entering the labor market each year. Uganda being the world’s most youthful country, with nearly 80% of its population under the age of 30 years, and more than half of its residents below the age of 15, it sits on the cusp of being able to harness the youth dividend.
