CAPCA promotes environment management by using climate resilience approach. This involves promoting mitigation and adaptation strategies, including soil and water conservation, agro-forestry and tree planting, waste management, energy saving technologies, use of renewable and/ or alternative energy sources, access to safe water etc.
In this way farmers are supported to increase the productivity of land through sustainable land management practices for soil and water resources. CAPCA builds capacities of farmers and community members in sustainable land management and climate resilience strategies so as to live and work a safe world. In other words farmers are equipped to use Climate Smart Agricultural practices.
